In April, Playwaze were confirmed as BUCS' selected provider to deliver a new competition management platform for intervarsity sport. As part of the BUCS partnership, Playwaze have now announced a University Pilot Scheme for the 2018/19 academic year, giving all universities the opportunity to pilot the Playwaze Platform, including the new competition management features built in partnership with BUCS, for a fixed and heavily discounted price.
Already working with the University of Nottingham and Union of Brunel Students, Playwaze has been in conversation with a variety of universities and student unions in recent weeks about using the Playwaze platform for the delivery of intra-mural leagues and tournaments, the hosting, publishing and promoting of student and staff active programmes, as well as university sports club management.
Separate to the BUCS Competition Management project, the pilot offers the chance for members to get hands on with the new Competition Management features being invested in by BUCS, a whole year before the BUCS app reaches members and students in September 2019.
